GATEWAYS

and open doors


Gateways are probably the single most critical demographic to be considered in the great commission work, and this is why. The majority of the strategic gateways left to rebuild are in what is called the 1040 window, which represents the vast majority of the worlds unreached, impoverished and oppressed. This is a vast need that needs to be met and the gateways are the open doors God has prepared for us to respond, not at the level that comforts our consciousness but at the level we have been blessed and equipped to respond, with talent, time, and treasure that needs to be released NOW in the name of Jesus!

In the Old Testament Book of Nehemiah, we read that Nehemiah was concerned with rebuilding the wall and the gateways around the temple, restoring those storehouses to vibrant resources of commerce for the needs of the people and the priests, refocusing the people and leaders to unity in community and purpose, and through doing this the focusing of all eyes on God, putting fear into all who oppose Him, today we must do the same, the world needs to see our response to our God calling us to unity while releasing His resources and entering into the work He will bless as we put our faith in Him and focus our hearts on that which He commanded us to do!

So "businessesinChrist" has started the “Nehemiah Gateway Foundation” to serve those gateways and the gatekeepers who are there, with resources from Christian leaders around the world, we together in unity in Christ will rebuild the gates of today's temple, the body of Christ!

Nehemiah 2:17-18 Then I said to them, "You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace." 18 I also told them about the gracious hand of my God upon me and what the king had said to me.

They replied, "Let us start rebuilding." So they began this good work.

God moves in His Spirit with providence opening gateway’s in the nations by effecting the hearts of government leaders, military leaders, wealthy individuals, businessmen, religious leaders to be cooperative about His business here on earth, we need to take advantage of this remembering this is a spiritual battle, and we must be about prayer and rapid response with resources while these gateways are open, because the evil one will do everything to close them!

Ephesians 6:12-13 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.NIV

Daniel 10:13 But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. NIV

We have to take advantage of the conditions while they exist this is not leisure work that can be conducted on our schedule. The lives of people physical and eternal are in reliance of us responding in a timely, strategic and effective manner with the blessings God has favored us with. We are a royal priesthood and we are at war spiritually.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.NIV

There are many brave and bold men and women of God who are in those gateways battling for the lives of many, in the name of Jesus Christ and they are relying on us to rise to the occasion, come to their aid and assistance with resources to sustain the work they are doing in Christ!
